Glass Mastering comprises of a number of stages to create a metallised glass master from which stampers are produced. Information from a master tape is transferred to the glass via Laser Beam Recording.
Subsequent development, metalization and electroforming then produces a nickel father stamper.
A precision closed-loop injection moulding process impresses polycarbonate onto a stamper to produce a clear data substrate.
A micro thin layer of aluminum film is deposited on the clear substrate to act as a reflective layer for laser read back. UV clear lacquer is applied onto surface of the disc to protect the disc from dust, scratches and environmental conditions. Each individual disc is then screened for any visual defects.
The printing process comprises of high definition silkscreen Printing and Photographic Offset Printing. Layers of finest quality images are transferred on the CD surface and cured by UV rays. Each individual disc is then inspected by an Inline Label and Identification Scanner to ensure that the highest quality standards are achieved.
